- Another double fixture Indoor resultes in
mixed fortunes today against The Beeches. In the
first fixture we lost 24~41 collecting only 1 point
from the three games (C.Price & P.Twining 11-10).
In the second fixture we reversed the result this
time collecting 3 points with wins from Ollie Newman
& Mick Barnwell (13~7) and Chris Price & Jon
Blakeman (19~5). Next fixture 6/11 against Selly
Park.
17/10/05 - A positive start for us in the indoor league yesterday with two wins over The George. In the first fixture Denise Killion & Frank Newman beat Bill Chiswell & Adam Hopwood, Mick Barnwell & Ollie Newman beat Elliott McGuinness & Mick Hughes, Chris Price & Jon Blakeman beat Paul & Callum Greene. In the second fixture Mick & Ollie again beat Elliott McGuinness & Mick Hughes, Chris Price & Jon Blakeman beat Paul & Callum Greene. Denise & Frank lost by 1 shot to Bill Chiswell & Adam Hopwood. Broomfield collecting 7pts from the two games.
After 8 seasons, Peter Rose has notified
us he will be bowling for Langley B.C next season - we wish him
all the best.
10/10/05 – Confirmation tonight from crowngreen.com that Broomfield ‘A’ finished second in the Smethwick Sunday Morning League Division 1. West Brom Labour won their final fixture at home to Moor Lane.
