29/08/05 - Ollie Newman & Matt Barnwell came runners-up in the Pheasant Aggregate Pairs on bank holiday Monday. They drew in the final 21.13 / 13.21. Ollie Newman played in the first to 5 play-off and lost 5-3. They collected the runners-up prize of £125 and Ollie Newman was presented with £25 for performance of the day. On route to the final they beat Sutton Park, WBFS and Selly Park. The winners were A.Hinton & P.Cookson of West Midlands Police
28/08/05 - Nigel Freeman today followed in the footsteps of both his dad Roy Freeman and grandad Fred Freeman by winning the Club Championship for a 4th time. He beat Keith Lawlor 21-11 in the final adding to his championship wins in 1994, 1997 & 2004.
