19/02/06 - Nomads recorded two wins over Dartmouth today, putting them back in 1st place. Best wins in both matches came from Ollie Newman and Mick Barnwell: 22-2 and 18-5. We picked up 7 points and a plus of 32. This puts us 1.5 points clear of the Baggeridge with four games to go. 12/02/06 - The Presentation took place last night at The Corus Hotel, Solihull. A full write up, photos and list of prize winners will soon be available by going to the Presentaion part of the site. After being kept a secret for the past month, we can finally congratulate Chris Price on being named our new President. A new section is in place ready for the Cup competitions in 2006. The members list has been updated, as has various areas of Years Gone By
Todays indoor fixture was cancelled. A double header will be played next week against Dartmouth. Broomfield are pleased to announce another new player for 2006, John Wilson from The Wernley.
05/02/06 - Website News :- The Broomfield Bowling Club now has it's own dedicated website address, you can now also access this website at www.broomfieldbc.com 05/02/06 - Nomads went back to the top of the Hadley Stadium Sunday Indoor league after recording their second best win of the season (4 points, +32). Baggeridge dropped 2 points against The George leaving us 1.5 points clear with 6 games to go. Wins today came from Ollie & Mick (24-7), Chris & Jonathan (14-7) and Frank & Denise (12-4). The green will open on Saturday 18th March, weather permitting. We are trying to arrange friendly matches for Saturday 1st April, the Premier side would play the home game and the Alliance away. 01/02/06 - You can now view Broomfield's 2006 fixtures for the following teams: W&W Premier Division 1
